In Erepublik, users become the citizen of a nation, based on those in the real world, and take part in a simulation of the real world's economic and political spheres. Players can take jobs, working their way up to own companies and corporations, get involved in wars between citizen-run countries, and even become president.

Erepublik is browser based and runs in HTML and Javascript. Navigation and gameplay are accomplished via mouse and keyboard input.

It is free to play, and earns revenue via the purchase of "Gold", but "Gold" doesn't bring any critical advantage to those who buy it.

Party Elections - held on 15th of every month
Citizens need to be members of a party in order to vote in party elections and, of course, they can only vote for the leadership of their own party.

Congress Elections - held on 25th of every month
To vote in these elections, citizens must enter the voting screen. They will be presented with the parties in the election for the region they are member of.

Country President Elections - held on 5th of every month
The candidate with the largest number of votes becomes the President. If equal, the highest level of EP will be taken into consideration.
